Whim W’Him returns for the fourth consecutive year, bringing world-class contemporary dance to communities all across Seattle.  Join us in embracing the power of unity and connection as these mesmerizing pop-up performances breathe life into public spaces, transforming them into vibrant stages. Gather with family and friends, grab a picnic blanket and let yourself be transported to a realm of artistic brilliance and inspiration.

From the vibrant city parks to the serene waterfronts,  these outdoor dance events are designed to unite communities together in celebration of the universal language of movement.  Feel the sheer enchantment of witnessing the magic of dance unfold right before your eyes, all while basking in the radiant warmth of the summer sun.

Performances will take place at several parks throughout Seattle including Ballard Commons Park, Jefferson Park in Beacon Hill, Martha Washington Park in Rainier Valley, Myrtle Reservoir Park near West Seattle and Pratt Park in the Central District. Real Rent calls on people who live and work in Seattle to make rent payments to the Duwamish Tribe. Though the city named for the Duwamish leader Chief Seattle thrives, the Tribe has yet to be justly compensated for their land, resources, and livelihood.

You can do something today to stand in solidarity with
First Peoples of this land by paying Real Rent.

All funds go directly to Duwamish Tribal Services (DTS) to support the cultural, economic and political survival of the Duwamish Tribe. Visit the webiste to learn more about this grassroots movement to support Duwamish sovereignty
