CONFIGURATE
In these troubled times filled with hatred, fear, discord & irreconcilable opinions, we have undertaken to create new contemporary dance works that will inspire love, compassion & empathy.
You do not want to miss our January 2018 production showcasing world-premieres from three experienced, innovative, and internationally recognized contemporary dance makers. Making her Whim W’Him choreographic debut is Gabrielle Lamb, a freelance choreographer from New York City who won a 2014 Princess Grace Award. Ihsan Rustem is coming back to Seattle all the way from Switzerland to set another new creation on the Whim W’Him dancers. Rustem is the winner of Sadler’s Wells Global Dance Contest in 2012. Whim W’Him Artistic Director and Founder, Olivier Wevers is thrilled to set his 23rd new work on the company.
